I've been meaning to update this. . .

I am guessing no one is reading this any longer, but I wanted to update it for my memory!

Jack is a lean, mean, running machine these days! He is just CRAZY!

His vocabulary grows daily. Here is what he's saying:

Dog ("gog") He also barks.
Kitty ("tiggy") Also meows sometimes.
More ("muah")
Mama
Da-da
Nana
Papa
Ba-ba (for "bottle")
Yummy ("mummymummy")
Cow
Moo (for cow)
Nay (for horse)
Baaa (for sheep)
Duck ("duckaduckaducka")
Bye-bye ("Buh-bye")
Ball
No
Go
Down
Done
Gone

He started signing some time ago and currently uses the following signs:

Milk
Eat
Please
Thank-you
More (sometimes, but has mostly dropped the sign since he started saying "muah")

His favorite foods consist of:

Pizza (like, REALLY loves it!)
Fruit (specifically, apples, bananas, lemons and limes. He also likes oranges, but after he's chewed out the good stuff, he spits out the rest. We find pieces of orange all over the place.)
Refried beans (he eats an entire plate when we go to the local Mexican restaurant. This last time, he figured out he can dip his tortilla chips in the beans.)
Suckers (do those count as food?)

He's also a dancing fool, especially when watching a Baby Einstein or Elmo show.

His current obsession (besides aforementioned Einstein & Elmo) is farm animals! LOVES cows, horses, pigs and sheep.

Look out, world! I'm ONE!

Per usual, the mother is still sleeping, so I figured I'd take this chance and update you all.

The morning of my birthday started off just like any other day: Mom wanting to take pictures of me.

"Hello, Mother! I'm still in my jams! OK, fine, but just a few because Elmo's on!"

I could still HEAR Elmo, I was just having a hard time SEEING Elmo.

The evening of my birthday, we had pizza & cookies for dinner. Mom & Dad gave me a cookie to "help him practice for his cake tomorrow." Those silly parents! As IF I need any practice! Whatever, though; I'll eat the cookie.

BIRTHDAY PARTY EXTRAVAGANZA!

We had planned my party for the park, but since it was crazy cold, we had to move it indoors.

Yes, The Mother DID make me wear a sweater with a "1" on it.

There were crazy people EVERYWHERE (aka: Stranger Danger!), so I felt it would be best just to hang tight to Mom. . . most of the afternoon.

Cousin Taylor feels the same way I do about Mom's camera.

Is this thing childproof??

Nana made me an awesome caterpillar cake!

Sing, monkeys, sing!!

Mom, for real. Enough's enough.

My main man, Nolan. Obviously he likes the camera.

Jack 1, 2 & 3 (that's me!)

"Four generations," whatever that means...

I hope you enjoyed my party as much as I did! Now, off to wake up Mom; I want some French toast sticks and a cup 'o joe!

For Nana:

The above is what always happens to L.J. after spending a day with his Nana! Beth hadn't seen Jack in about a month and they had an exciting day at the Durham Western Heritage Museum.

P.S. These pictures are in backwards order, but since I don't think anyone really reads this thing, I'm not gunna fix 'em! :)

Does anyone else see the irony in this picture??
